BİNGÖL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY
At the time when the Bingöl Trade Registry Office was administratively part of the Bingöl municipality, Chamber-related services were provided by the Muş Chamber of Commerce. The Bingöl Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) was founded in 01.01.1989 under the leadership of the traders at the time Abdurrezzak AKDEMİR, Kemal BOZAN, Şükrü YILMAZ, Selahattin BURAKGAZİ, Zeki ADEMCİ, Hüseyin BEKTAŞ, Recep AYDOĞDU, Haydar YURTSEVER and Bekir BÜRKÜK.
The Chamber was first established in two rooms of office space in the Municipality Office Building on Genç Avenue , but moved to the third floor of the same building in 1994, where it continued its activities in three rooms of office space. In 1996, under the chairmanship of Bekir BÜRKÜK, a 600 square-meter piece of land on Kültür Street was co-purchased with the Bingöl Union of Chambers of Tradesmen from the Directorate of National Real Estate.
The construction of the service building - with the dedicated efforts of Burhan SEÇKİN (Chairman of the Board of Directors) and Kemal BOZAN (Chairman of the Assembly), was started on the piece of land in 2001, and in February 2003, the Chamber moved to its new service building at Kültür Avenue, the Trade and Tradesmen Palace, Floor 1.
During the construction of the Service Building, the then President of the Assembly Mr. Kemal BOZAN worked like a worker bee and received the appreciation of all Bingöl. From its establishment until the present day, the Assemblies and the Boards of Directors, as Authorized Bodies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, have shown great devotion and self-sacrifice, and have united our members with this service building without fees or honorariums.
In 2017, the Bingöl Chamber of Commerce and Industry, under the chairmanship of newly elected Chairman of the Board Mr. Mahmut AYAS, the Board of Directors and the Assembly, declared a new vision. Beginning the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey accreditation process in 2014, the Chamber was granted ISO 9001 and 10002 Quality systems and began providing new services to its members, such as K Documents, Digital Tachograph, etc. The Chamber has served with one member of staff between 1989 and 1993, with two members of staff between 1993 and 2003, and with the addition of two new staff members between 2003 and 2013, reaching a total of four staff members.
Another two members of staff were added in 2013, and two more in 2014, bringing the total in 2015 to eight employees. Finally, as part of the restructuring that took place in 2017, the total number of employees reached 10. The Chamber, which has 1,850 active members, has 10 professional groups.
